Our Statement of Faith
Desert Road Ministries affirms the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Nicene Creed, one of the earliest and most widely accepted statements of Christian belief.
The Nicene Creed (Simplified)
We Believe in One God, the Father the Almighty
God is the Creator of all things, seen and unseen. He is loving, sovereign, and actively involved in His creation.
We Believe in Jesus Christ
Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully human. He entered our world, lived among us, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and reigns with the Father. Through Him we receive forgiveness, reconciliation, and new life.
We Believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life
The Holy Spirit is God’s presence with His people today. He comforts, guides, convicts, empowers, and transforms believers as they grow in their relationship with Christ.
We Believe in the Church
The Church is the worldwide body of Christ made up of believers from every nation, culture, and denomination who confess Jesus as Lord. We believe Christians are called to worship, serve, encourage one another, and participate in God’s redemptive work in the world.
We Believe in Redemption and Restoration
Through Christ, God is restoring people, relationships, and creation itself. While complete restoration will come when Christ returns, we participate in that work now through faith, healing, repentance, reconciliation, and love.
We Believe in Eternal Hope
We look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the fulfillment of God’s kingdom, where all things will be made new.

Many of our team members have personally experienced seasons of burnout, grief, recovery, caregiving, ministry challenges, relational struggles, and spiritual wrestling. While every story is unique, we approach others with empathy rather than judgment.

We believe God is actively at work in people’s lives.
No matter how long someone has struggled or what they’ve done, we believe growth, healing, and transformation remain possible. We acknowledge mistakes and character defects without allowing it to define a person’s future.

“We Accept Our Humanity and Need for God”
Authenticity begins with recognizing that we are imperfect people who need God’s grace. We reject the pressure to appear as though we have everything together and instead pursue honesty, humility, and integrity.
Connected
“Seek God Honestly. Receive Support from Others.”
We believe healing happens in relationship.
God designed people to live in connection—with Him and with one another. Isolation often fuels discouragement, shame, and burnout, while healthy connection promotes growth, resilience, and freedom.
Restoration in Progress
“Recovery Is a Lifelong Journey”
We believe transformation is ongoing.
Spiritual growth, emotional healing, and recovery are rarely linear. Rather than striving for perfection, we seek faithful progress. We desire to engage in ministry from a place of freedom, dependence on God, and continual growth.

At Desert Road Ministries, we seek to integrate spiritual formation, emotional health, and practical support. We believe that caring for the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and relationships—allows ministry leaders and their families to flourish.
