Don McDonald, PhD
Advisory Council Member
Brief info
Don McDonald and his wife joined an international parachurch organization right out of college and served at their headquarters for over 17 years. During that time he completed a Masters in Biblical Studies, was ordained as a denominational minister, and traveled to about two dozen countries. Feeling forced to leave ministry, Don pursued a PhD in Sociology. As a result of classes and life events, he rejected God as a reality. This was short-lived, but devastating. Because of this fall and subsequent return to faith, Don has a passion for apologetics and for those who have been taught to not look to Jesus. Don is retired after 20 years as a university professor but continues to teach apologetics in a Christian high school and volunteer to help international students practice English as a way to get them the good news of the Savior.
